The Collective was a coworking space aiming to connect professionals from the digital & creative industry.
As my first step into entrepreneurial territory, for the first time I could build a product from scratch, from idea to execution.
Starting a business means learning to wear many hats: design, marketing & sales, pricing, admin, client acquisition, client retention, customer care, and more.
As far as design is concerned, I embraced the full spectrum of design work: from logos to websites & Wordpress customizations, from T-Shirts to flyers, from ads to marketing visuals (and even a wall drawing!).
Logo Design & identity
Logo, final version
Wireframe
It was only after countless iterations that the logo reached its current form. When I started I didn't have a clear picture in mind but I knew I wanted a logo with a classic look, like an established brand that's been around for a long time.
My design tool of choice was Illustrator. As the wireframes show, the design was comprised of many elements — shapes, decorations, lines and typography — all condensed in a coherent whole.
The logo received attention and was featured in several blogs, online magazines and logo collections: Designyourway, DesignWoop, We Love Graphic Design, and many others.
